SOLER participated in the European Space Weather Week in Coimbra, Portugal, 4-8 November 2024

SOLER scientists participated the European Space Weather Week in Coimbra, Portugal, in 4-8 November 2024. The meeting brought together the space weather scientific and application-oriented communities from Europe and presented a perfect opportunity to present SOLER to potential users of the project results.

SOLER scientists gave several presentations on the first results of the project. The project was also represented in a topical discussion meeting on data-driven modelling of solar energetic particle events and had a joint stand with another Horizon Europe project, SPEARHEAD, in the Space Weather Fair organized on Wednesday 6 November.

Nina Dresing giving a presentation on a circumsolar shock wave detected by the heliospheric fleet in March 2023.

Diana Morosan presenting the results of a study linking solar remote sensing observations of particle acceleration regions with in-situ measurements of accelerated electrons.
